Registered Nurse - Cardiac Intermediate

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in the Cardiac Stepdown department. Join a unit recognized for high patient satisfaction, where quality care and service are prioritized in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care to telemetry-monitored, post-operative cardiothoracic, and structural heart patients.
• Utilizing skills to maintain A-lines, BIPAP, trachs, epicardial pacemakers, Blake drains, chest tubes, and drips.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans based on evidence and compassion.
• Accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for care management following current policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school required; a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state mandatory.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• If the RN license has been inactive or lapsed for five or more years without recent licensure in another state, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to licensure reinstatement, which must be applied for within one year of course completion.
