Job Summary
Affords support to the Director and supervisor in managing the organization's quality improvement initiatives and processes. Assists in the compilation and examination of data from multiple databases to aid in the creation and validation of best practices and evidence-based medicine. Engages in all facets of committee and team formation to tackle Performance Improvement projects for the organization, particularly those involving the Medical Staff. Undertakes project-related work in Quality Improvement within the Cath Lab and across other departments. Collaborates with the Director and supervisor on medical staff oversight and hospital-wide quality improvement programs.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN)
- Minimum Work Experience: 3 years in hospital clinical nursing and 1 year in data analysis
- Required Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Texas
- Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Compile and analyze reports
- Develop office procedures
- Compose applicable policies and procedures
- Compose letters/memoranda
- Generate reports
- Cook up meetings
- Cook up schedules
- Develop and compile statistical data
- Develop program indicators
