RN, Cardiology

About the role

The Medical Group provides a wide range of outpatient cardiovascular care services, including evaluations, diagnostic testing, and ongoing management for heart conditions. This position supports our practices located at 81 Highland Ave in Salem.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree Nursing Required, Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required, Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred.
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required, Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
