About the role
Provides professional nursing care within a medical practice, supporting physicians in patient treatment and completing clinical paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Assists with medical treatments and procedures
- Communicates with patients, families, and staff in a caring, professional manner
- Ensures compliance with regulations and policies
- Performs related duties as assigned
- Integrates Christian values and the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and respecting human dignity
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Current valid state nursing license
- CPR certification (or obtained within 90 days)
- Knowledge of nursing principles, medications, patient education, and safety practices
- Ability to react calmly in emergencies and communicate effectively
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate clinical equipment
