RN - Advanced Care Unit - Weekend

Role Overview Provides professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process to deliver and manage patient care effectively. Key Responsibilities Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical examinations.Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Use evidence-based practices, protocols, and procedures to promote optimal patient outcomes.Document patient progress, modify care plans as needed, and ensure accurate record-keeping.Operate and troubleshoot clinical equipment, perform bedside lab testing, and manage specimen collection.Coordinate interdisciplinary care, delegate tasks appropriately, and advocate for patients.Promote safety by following policies, ensuring proper equipment use, and adhering to safety standards.Educate patients and families, considering cultural and developmental factors, and utilize available resources for teaching.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and process enhancements.Maintain high standards of patient safety, contribute to team performance, and support patient and family satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills Certifications in BLS, RN licensure, and ACLS are required. Must have a nursing diploma, technical proficiency with equipment, strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize, adapt to changing conditions, and work effectively within a team environment is essential.
