About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for managing a group of patients, delivering comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, technology, and resources within the institution's philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Performing duties specific to the unit's scope of service.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of nursing care.
• Carrying out initial patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
• Implementing and modifying care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Ensuring patient and employee safety by addressing hazards and incidents.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Providing constructive feedback and supporting colleagues’ professional growth.
• Participating in departmental competencies and safety protocols.
• Collaborating with ICU and hospitalist teams for specialized patient care.

Qualifications

• A current RN license and required certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
• An H.S. Diploma/GED.
• Skills in patient assessment, care planning, safety, communication, and teamwork.
