About the Role
Provides comprehensive direct patient care in specialty acute care units, utilizing nursing processes within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing practice, prioritizing patient safety and evidence-based care.
- Model proficiency through precepting and contribute to a secure safety and quality environment.
- Support specialty education and training, especially in moderate to high acuity settings, with guidance from clinical educators.
Key Duties
- Direct patient care in acute settings.
- Adherence to evidence-based practices.
- Supporting new staff.
- Contributing to safety and quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (if less than 3 years of experience).
- Active RN license.
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
- BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
