About the Role
Provide direct patient care in a surgical specialty acute care unit, focusing on non-trauma surgical and medical patients requiring inpatient services. This onsite RN position involves utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring safety and quality at the point of care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care based on evidence-based practices.
- Support and guide new staff through precepting and ongoing education.
- Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and a positive experience.
- Contribute to clinical outcomes through effective teamwork and communication.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board if less than 3 years' experience.
- Valid RN licensure.
- Minimum of 6 months RN nursing experience.
- BLS certification through recognized American Heart Association or American Red Cross programs.
