RN - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Part-Time Night Shift

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, working part-time night shifts. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care through evidence-based nursing practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with patients and families, and coordinate care to optimize outcomes. Promote relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity. Document care accurately, support performance improvement initiatives, and participate in professional development, mentorship, and research activities. Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and uphold organizational policies and standards, including safety and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelors preferred)Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)BLS certification mandatoryMinimum 5 years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient careStrong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skillsProficient in technology and clinical documentationAbility to respond effectively in fast-paced and emergency situationsExcellent time management and critical thinking abilities
