RN - Acute Care - Ortho Surgical Weekend - Full-Time Night

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, working full-time nights on weekends. Responsibilities Include Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking to deliver individualized patient care.Providing relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, ensuring cultural competence.Partnering with patients and families through effective communication methods, such as bedside reports and interdisciplinary rounds, focusing on patient goals.Ensuring safe, high-quality care, maintaining documentation, and promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.Collaborating with healthcare teams, participating in performance improvement and shared governance activities.Mentoring and serving as a preceptor to colleagues and students to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.Advocating for evidence-based practice, participating in research, and ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and safety protocols.Supporting resource efficiency and contributing to protocol development to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications Include Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).Current BLS or ARC-BLS certification.Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care preferred.
