RN - Acute Care - Ortho Surgical Weekend - Full-Time Night

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, working full-time night shifts on weekends. Responsibilities Include Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.Delivering patient-centered care tailored to population-specific needs, respecting cultural diversity.Partnering with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting.Ensuring safe, high-quality care through timely documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance.Mentoring and precepting other nurses and healthcare staff to promote professional development.Promoting evidence-based practice, participating in data collection, and adhering to organizational policies and safety standards.Collaborating on protocol development to improve patient outcomes and resource utilization. Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).Current RN license (single or multi-state compact).BLS certification required upon hire.Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with direct patient care preferred.
