RN - Acute Care - Ortho Surgical Weekend - Full-Time Night

Role Overview: This position involves providing compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an acute care orthopedic surgical setting. The RN will perform the nursing process, ensuring individualized care using evidence-based practices, and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, emphasizing clinical standards and cultural diversity.Partner with patients and significant others through communication methods like bedside reports and teaching to align care with patient goals.Coordinate safe, high-quality care and documentation, fostering teamwork and respectful, inclusive environments.Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities to enhance patient outcomes.Serve as a preceptor or mentor, support professional development, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards.Promote evidence-based practice, contribute to resource development, and engage in data collection for continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care experience preferred.Strong clinical, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
