RN - Acute Care - Ortho Surgical - Part-Time Night Shift

Role: RN Clinical Nurse in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, working part-time during night shifts. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care by performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, partnering with patients and families to ensure personalized care that respects cultural diversity. Document care accurately and promote a respectful, inclusive environment. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research activities, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled workforce. Develop protocols, optimize resource use, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 5 years of RN experience with direct patient care preferred. Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification are required. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments. Basic computer skills and proficiency in English are essential.
