About the Role

Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - Ortho Surgical, working part-time night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care through the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, communicate openly with patients and families, and promote cultural competence.
• Lead and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Support professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold organizational policies and standards.
• Contribute to protocol development, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize resource utilization.
• Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care and foster teamwork and collaboration.
• Participate in quality improvement and research.
• Support resource management and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (preferred).
• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Current BLS certification (required upon hire).
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies professionally.
