RN - Acute Care - Ortho Surgical - Part-Time Night Shift

About the Role

Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in an acute care orthopedic surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and involve patients and families in care planning.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through interdisciplinary teamwork and effective communication.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and adherence to organizational policies and standards.
• Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other nurses and healthcare staff.
• Promote evidence-based practice, participate in data collection, and develop protocols to improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
• Compliance with all relevant policies and standards.
• Proficiency in clinical technology and documentation.
