RN Acute Care - Neuro - PRN Night Shift

About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Neuro, providing high-quality, safe, patient‑centered care within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes using evidence‑based practices.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and team members, ensuring culturally sensitive care.
• Document accurately, promote teamwork through interdisciplinary communication, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster workforce development and uphold professional standards.
• Engage in research, quality improvement, and protocol development to enhance patient outcomes.
• Proactively plan across the care continuum and utilize resources efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed as an RN (single state or multi‑state compact) with BLS certification.
• Preferred experience in direct patient care.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate technology effectively and respond calmly to emergencies.
• Knowledge of clinical standards, policies, and evidence‑based practices.
