RN - Acute Care Medical Telemetry - Part Time Weekend Day Shift

Role Overview: This position involves providing compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an acute medical telemetry setting. The RN will perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices to ensure individualized care and optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality care through effective partnerships with patients and their families, incorporating cultural diversity and patient goals.Coordinate interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and collaborative care efforts.Support performance improvement initiatives and participate in shared governance activities.Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses and staff, fostering professional development.Promote evidence-based practice, research, and adherence to organizational policies and safety standards.Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of an Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care preferred.Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
