About the Role
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team in an Acute Care - Medical Telemetry setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practice.
- Deliver culturally competent, relationship-based care tailored to patient needs.
- Partner with patients and families using effective communication methods, including bedside reports and education.
- Ensure safe, quality care through accurate documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Mentor and serve as a preceptor to promote a competent workforce.
- Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN license (single or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
Skills
