RN - Acute Care Medical Telemetry - Part Time Weekend Day Shift

Role Overview: The RN in Acute Care Medical Telemetry provides patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate. They deliver culturally sensitive care in partnership with patients and families, ensuring individualized treatment and goal alignment. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical assessments and deliver safe, quality care through effective teamwork and interdisciplinary communication.Coordinate care documentation, support performance improvement initiatives, and promote a respectful, inclusive environment.Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional growth and a healthy work environment.Engage in evidence-based practice, research activities, and data collection to enhance patient outcomes.Develop protocols, optimize resource use, and support system-wide safety and quality standards.Comply with organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care preferred.Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills essential.
