RN - Acute Care Medical Telemetry - Part Time Weekend Day Shift

Role Overview The RN in this role provides patient-centered care in an acute care medical telemetry setting, emphasizing evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and individualized care. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process, coordinating care through effective partnerships, and practicing according to current clinical standards. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care: Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring cultural competence and patient involvement.Teamwork & Collaboration: Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and participation in performance improvement activities.Professional Development: Complete ongoing competency assessments, serve as a preceptor/mentor, and support a healthy work environment.Evidence-Based Practice: Promote research, participate in value analysis, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.Resource Management: Plan patient care across the continuum, develop protocols, and optimize resource use. Qualifications & Skills Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).Active RN license (single or multi-state compact).Current BLS certification.Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with direct patient care preferred.
