About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) in a surgical specialty unit, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practices.
- Precept and mentor new healthcare staff to promote professional development.
- Contribute to maintaining safety and quality at the point of care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (less than 3 years' experience).
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification.
- Minimum 6 months of RN nursing experience.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
Key Duties
- Provide care in specialty acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity.
- Engage in evidence-based care models and specialty certification standards.
- Participate in a supportive, innovative clinical environment focused on professional growth and patient safety.
