About the role
Registered Nurse in an acute care setting, providing direct patient care on specialty Med-Surg units with moderate to high acuity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care using the nursing process
- Prioritize patient wellness and support safety and quality at the point of care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor new staff and contribute to evidence-based practices in a fast-paced environment
- Support specialty education and competency validation through clinical educators
- Provide patient-centered care and uphold evidence-based practices in acute care settings
- Engage in professional growth and model proficiency for colleagues
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (if less than 3 years of experience)
- RN licensure
- At least 6 months of RN experience
- BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross (required before start)
