Acute Care RN - Night Shift

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse- Acute Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with team members, coordinate care, and ensure effective communication with patients and families.
• Support performance improvement, participate in research, and uphold professional standards and ethics.
• Assist in developing protocols, mentor staff, and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor's).
• Valid RN license (multi-state preferred).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Minimum one year of acute care experience required.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.

Schedule

• 13-week surge season assignment.
• 36 hours/week on night shifts.
• Scheduled days include Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

Pay & Benefits

• PRN staff member: no benefits and no guaranteed hours.
