Role: The RN Clinical Nurse- Acute Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical environment. Responsibilities: Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practice. Collaborate with team members, coordinate care, and ensure effective communication with patients and families. Support performance improvement, participate in research, and uphold professional standards and ethics. Assist in developing protocols, mentor staff, and promote a culture of safety and excellence. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor’s), valid RN license (multi-state preferred), BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification. Minimum one year of acute care experience is required, with previous travel experience preferred. Strong clinical, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills are essential. Additional Details: Must complete a 13-week surge season assignment, working 36 hours/week on night shifts, with scheduled days including Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. No benefits or guaranteed hours as a PRN staff member. Complies with organizational policies and standards.
