About the role

A Herc Risk Analyst plays an integral role in the collection process within Herc Rentals Order to Cash. Primary functions include sending accurate and timely Preliminary Notices to secure lien rights; processing lien releases/waivers to support collection of active AR; and assisting with final resolution of at-risk accounts, including payment plans and final demand letters.

Responsibilities

  • Determine if lien and/or bond rights should be pursued based on various factors relating to the outstanding AR and risk for Herc Rentals’ customers.
  • Determine if the equipment being used is eligible to file for lien or bond rights based on state statute.
  • Research Ownership and General Contractor to ensure the accuracy of Preliminary Notices.
  • Collaborate with team members in the field to confirm accurate job site information is entered into the internal system.
  • Ensure all activity is documented in the required systems for tracking.
  • Ensure critical deadlines and SLAs are met.
  • Determine if Herc Rentals’ customer types of business can have a Lien and/or Bond claim filed.
  • Ensure the proper release is provided to the customer based on the job and payments received or required.
  • Assist the OTC Legal Services Team with final resolution of at-risk accounts.
  • Demonstrate active participation in Herc Rentals Safety Culture, always prioritizing the safety of team members and customers alike.
  • Support all team members.
  • Learn and follow all company procedures and protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Computer skills to support entering information into systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  • Must react to changing business needs.
  • Solid and proven computer skill set (knowledge of MS Office is preferred).
  • A multitasking individual who uses project management skills to accomplish goals.
  • Works and communicates effectively with all levels of the company.
  • Knowledge of Statutory Lien Laws and knowledge of Lien Releases are preferred.

Pay

$22 - $25 per hour.
