Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and act in a safe manner at all times.
  • Proficient investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of claims: Prompt review, reporting, and management of claims arising out of Workers Compensation and General Liability losses.
  • Maintain an effective diary system and document claim file activities.
  • Perform administrative functions such as filing, check requests, payment/expense tracking.
  • Compile and complete all monthly payroll reporting requirements and annual payroll audits for OCIP programs.
  • Report all Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) claims to appropriate carriers and manage the claims until closure.

Qualifications

  • 2 years college or specialized training (Business/Accounting/Related field)
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication, negotiation, organization, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
