About the role

This position involves the planning, laying out, and installation of rigging components for the safe lifting and installation of equipment, machinery, and materials. The role requires familiarity with rigging techniques, tools, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with the crew.
• Ensure high-quality work, safely and efficiently.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and share knowledge.
• Inspect and correct work to meet plans and specifications.
• Eliminate waste in all tasks and methods.
• Lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
• In-depth understanding of ironworking and rigging.
• High proficiency in related trade mathematics.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Current rigger license or certification as required by law.

Physical Requirements

• Work up to 12 hours per shift.
• Perform hard physical work in various temperatures and conditions.
• May lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist.
• May stoop, kneel, or bend.
• Must wear personal protective equipment.
• Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
• May use electronic devices for communication.

Physical Demands

• Ability to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
• May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis.
