ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete rigging and setup of boats as outlined on rig tickets and delivery documents
- Support store events, off-site promotions, and boat shows when required
- Install accessories, electronics, and performance upgrades as specified by sales and service teams. Protect boat interiors and exteriors during the rigging and prep process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including daily upkeep of shop and store grounds
- Accurately complete rigging paperwork, including time tracking and repair orders
- Notify the Service Manager when boats are ready for final inspection or customer delivery
- Clock with the Parts Manager to ensure timely access to all needed components
- Safely operate tools, lifting equipment, and other shop machinery
- Perform other service-related tasks as assigned by management
SKILLS
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in installation and documentation
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, work orders, and rigging specs
- Effective communication with service and parts departments
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Customer-first mindset when preparing units for delivery
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with boat, marine, or automotive engine systems preferred
- Must provide own hand tools
- Able to lift at least 10 lbs, perform physical labor, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Previous experience with rigging or mechanical installation a plus
