Rigging Technician

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Supervisor, and AV team on installation.
• Interpret complex structural and attachment drawings.
• Safely perform work to industry and Solotech standards.

Requirements

• ETCP Certification (other industry certifications an asset).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an AVL rigging role.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, schematic reading, basic math skills, and mechanical understanding of gearing.
• Knowledge of different hoist manufacturers.
• Able to lift loads.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Valid forklift license (an asset).
• Great attention to detail.
• Able to work independently as well as with a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
