Revenue Cycle Lead
The Role
We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Owner to ensure that our partners and Mederva receive reimbursement for the care we provide. This role involves understanding and navigating complex healthcare billing rules, building processes to scale, and collaborating with various teams to implement new billing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Understand and navigate Medicare and other payer policies to develop efficient billing workflows.
- Collaborate with account managers, internal operations, and product teams to build scalable billing processes.
- Work with billers to adapt to new billing programs and technologies.
- Document and communicate billing procedures to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Partner with the product and engineering teams to integrate billing rules into internal tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) or Billing.
- Real-world experience with Medicare and familiarity with programs such as CoCM, CCM, APCM, BHI, RPM, or value-based care.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting payer policies and translating them into actionable workflows.
- Experience working with spreadsheets and new tools to enhance efficiency.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including engineers.
- Experience working in an agile environment within a fast-growing startup.
