Job Details
As a Permanent Revenue Cycle Lead, you will play a crucial role in the financial wellbeing of our organization. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the revenue cycle processes to ensure maximization and efficiency. Your role will extend to managing a team and liaising with different departments to ensure the smooth flow of financial data and information.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire revenue cycle from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle processes and maximize financial performance.
- Prepare regular financial reports and analysis, including cost reports, for senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections.
- Manage a team of revenue cycle specialists, providing training, guidance, and support as necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Handle customer-facing responsibilities, addressing any queries or concerns related to billing and payments.
- Utilize Excel and other financial software to manage and analyze financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong accounting skills, with a thorough understanding of revenue cycle processes.
- Experience in financial analysis and cost reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to handle queries and concerns professionally and effectively.
- Experience in team management, with strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Knowledge of Medicaid reimbursement is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot trends and potential issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
