Revenue Accounting Manager (Remote)

About the Opportunity

A nationally recognized health services network is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to oversee revenue accounting, grant and contribution recognition, and the monthly close process in a remote environment aligned to East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the revenue accounting process to ensure accurate, timely, and complete recording of activity
• Manage grant and contribution accounting, including cash receipt reconciliations, donor restriction classification, and pledge review
• Support the monthly close process and help produce accurate financial reports and account analyses
• Partner with development, grants, finance, and program teams to guide proper revenue recognition
• Research accounting issues, document conclusions, and support audits and year-end procedures

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive Accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and the ability to research and support accounting conclusions with authoritative guidance
• Experience with Monthly Close, Reconciliations, and Revenue Recognition

Skills

• Nonprofit Accounting experience
• Experience with Auditing
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct
• Experience reviewing grant restrictions, conditions, and multi-year pledges
• Ability to manage large data sets with strong attention to detail
