Returns Processor

About the role

The Returns Processor will manage all inbound shipments and returns from customers and stores, process refunds in our e-commerce platform and ERP, and report customer feedback to relevant departments. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Process returns from customers in a timely manner using systems such as Loop, Global-E, NetSuite, and Shopify
• Open inbound packages and perform quality control on each item
• Put away and organize units back to stock
• Separate damaged items and determine if they can be repaired
• Re-tag items after cleaning with the correct barcode
• Notify the QC Department of units being transferred to alterations
• Communicate product issues to the Quality Control Manager
• Notify the Operations team of any system or refund process errors
• Report product issues (e.g., poor sewing, loose buttons, broken zippers) to the Warehouse Manager
• Transfer returned items using the WMS mobile system
• Perform daily data entry
• Assist with transferring damaged orders and shipping tasks
• Support the warehouse team with packing and picking as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Assist with inventory counts and stock verification
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
• Passion for working with an inclusive, values-driven brand
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Understanding of and adherence to job requirements and safety guidelines
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
• Commitment to following health and safety procedures and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and product knowledge

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and move objects up to 25 lbs
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally sit and climb or balance
• Operate equipment such as computers, scanners, copy machines, and phones
• Access various areas of the warehouse

Pay

$21/hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (with some required Saturdays on an as-needed basis).

Classification: Non-Exempt | Location: Vernon, CA (Onsite)
