Returns Processor

The role

The position is a combination of equipment operator (30-90% depending on production peak times) but will also require the employee to perform material handling and loading/unloading duties.

Responsibilities

• The position involves operating stand-up material handling equipment, specifically a Dock Stocker and Reach Truck.
• Material handling and loading/unloading duties are also included.
• Loads, unloads, moves, stocks, stages, and stages product.
• Verifies proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Ensures accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identifies items requiring special processing or separation (e.g., hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensures scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g., slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stacks and tapes pallets in a safe manner.
• Observes all safety and sanitation standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months’ experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required.
• This position requires safe and efficient operation of a stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck, and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience.
• Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A Material handling equipment certification is preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience is preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience is preferred.

Skills

• Safe and efficient operation of stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck.
• Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack.

Pay: $18.45
