Retail Warehouse/Customer Service Associate

About the Role

Habitat Bucks is seeking customer-friendly, part-time ReStore Specialists for our Warminster location. This role is crucial in driving positive change within the community by supporting all aspects of ReStore operations in a fast-paced, physically demanding retail environment. Each day brings new excitement, from unique treasures to distinctive home decor pieces.

Responsibilities

• Uphold store and customer service policies
• Price donations according to company procedures and policies
• Provide excellent customer service while selling merchandise
• Organize and maintain assigned areas
• Adapt to various job duties throughout the workday
• Receive and process incoming donated items
• Move furniture and appliances (experience is a plus)
• Perform all tasks assigned by the ReStore Manager and Assistant Manager

Requirements

• Passion for customer service with a friendly and helpful demeanor
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs
• Experience operating a pallet jack is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more (with or without corrective lenses) and ability to distinguish colors
• Ability to climb ladders or scaffolding up to 6 feet high, grasp, reach, stoop, speak, listen, and distinguish differences in odors
• Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled conditions, including outdoors, warehouses, or donor facilities
