About the role

As a Supervisor, you will partner with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth across Bath & Body Works. Store leaders are retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors who thrive on connections with customers.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Handle leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager, including acting as manager on duty to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with the sales leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Perform opening and closing routines, including bank deposits, receipt of shipments, and dissemination of company directives.
• Set daily/shift direction and goals for associates.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences by demonstrating selling behaviors rooted in company values and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers by uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
• Maintain constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products and maintain store visual standards.
• Consistently provide a safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.
• Maintain company values, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in retail.
• Ability to thrive in a customer-first retail environment.
• Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and adaptability.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Availability to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
