Responsibilities

  • Arrange, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
  • Manage leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager, including acting as manager on duty to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to implement action plans that enhance performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
  • Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
  • Create exceptional in-store customer experiences by demonstrating and sharing product knowledge.
  • Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve their selling and customer service skills.
  • Ensure all associates adhere to selling expectations, performance standards, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience, preferably in a retail setting.
  • Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
  • Experience de-escalating store and customer situations.
  • Availability to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
