Responsibilities

  • Execute retailer visits in assigned territory on an assigned call schedule.
  • Facilitate On-site training with retailer owners, clerks, and managers, as well as other staff as needed, product, program, and implementation rollouts.
  • Generate, interpret, and present sales data through company issued sales aid to grow product sales.
  • Responsible for instant ticket equipment management and assist with gaming system equipment.
  • Track and maintain adequate physical inventory levels of the instant ticket product at assigned retailers to influence telemarketing recommendations.
  • Assist with the execution of in-store events from start to finish, including assisting with planning, scheduling, and executing promotional activities to increase sales.
  • Serve as a liaison between company, customer officials, and retailers.
  • Educate retailers on best practices and other marketing and sales techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Responsible for evaluating and managing in store product inventory, display, as well as point of sale materials.
  • Recommend optimal inventory mix at retail locations through planogram compliance, instant ticket ordering, and returns.
  • Monitor and track inventory by following all lottery procedures such as picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing, and returning tickets.
  • Tracks and maintains adequate inventory levels of the instant ticket product at assigned retailers.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for covering other territories that may open due to vacancy, vacation, extended leave, personal time off, or any other reason.
  • Educate and answer consumer questions on games and promotions.
  • Assists with field research and end user hardware testing as needed.
  • Lead retailer and staff-related promotions and assists with customer special events.
  • Assists personnel and internal business units by reporting, tracking, and troubleshooting retailer and/or equipment issues.
  • Participates in statewide sales meetings/conferences.
  • Assists with other projects as assigned.
  • Complete required paperwork and assist with other projects as they are assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Customer service, marketing and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Required Skills: Sound decision making and organizational skills, strong ability to work independently and with flexibility, exceptional customer service skills, ability to build positive customer relationships, strong time management skills, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products, ability to lift over 25lbs.
  • Preferred Skills: 2-4 years marketing and/or retail sales experience, knowledge of Lottery products and services, familiarity with hardware, software, and/or back-office tools.
