Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using tools such as text messaging and social media
• Build lasting customer relationships and deliver service tailored to individual preferences
• Provide honest, confident style and fit feedback
• Develop fashion and product expertise through continuous learning
• Maintain a customer-ready department by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, handling price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Grow the Nordstrom Rewards program by opening new accounts
• Occasionally support other departments as business needs require

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above head level
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Pay

Base pay: $18.80 per hour. Commission varies by department: 3%–14.5% for apparel, shoes, and accessories; 3% for beauty and men’s fragrance. Performance-based incentives or bonuses may also apply.
