Retail Sales/Design Consultant 1

We're looking for a motivated individual with a passion for design and customer service to join our team as a Design Consultant.

As a key member of our sales team, you'll have the opportunity to work with customers to understand their design needs and provide expert advice on flooring and other products.

What You'll Do

• Sell flooring, granite, blinds and custom services to clients
• Greet customers on the sales floor and determine their wants and needs
• Stay up-to-date on our product offerings, benefits, and warranties
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Process sales orders and measure spaces in homes or businesses
• Follow up with customers after job completion
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues
• Pursue new business opportunities
• Process transactions and use our computer database to research availability and process orders
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide design advice
• Assist customers with product choices and decorating advice
• Maintain showroom displays and samples

Requirements

• Willing to work on the showroom floor and prospect for new clients in the community.
• Commitment to undergoing extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert.
• Self-starting individual with strong organizational skills.
• Able to create new business and provide exceptional follow-up service.
• Able to provide outstanding customer service.

• Passion for decorating or design, or relevant experience.
• Access to reliable transportation for work and customer visits.
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn our operating systems.
• Retail sales experience preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Personal or professional experience with remodeling or a related field.

Benefits

This Retail Sales/Design Consultant 1 role pays $30,000 to $100,000/Yr.
