Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
  • Aid customers with shipping, packing, mailbox services, package drop-offs, Amazon returns, printing, copying, faxing, and retail purchases.
  • Receive and process packages for shipment through UPS, USPS, and other carriers.
  • Recommend shipping, packing, printing, and business service solutions based on customer needs.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, printers, copiers, fax machines, laminating machines, binding equipment, and other store equipment.
  • Provide accurate information regarding shipping options, packaging requirements, delivery timelines, mailbox services, and printing solutions.
  • Learn all products, services, pricing options, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe store environment.
  • Support daily store operations and assist team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, cashiering, shipping, printing, office services, hospitality, or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong computer and internet skills are necessary.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, POS systems, printers, copiers, or Adobe software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask are required.
  • A friendly, professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude is important.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment is necessary.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds is required.
  • A willingness to learn all aspects of The UPS Store business is appreciated.
