Retail Sales Associate - Archery Technician Lead (West Location)

About the role

North 40 Outfitters in Spokane, WA is seeking a Full-Time Archery Technician Lead to join our team. As an Archery Technician Lead, you play a key role in the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service, generating sales, suggesting products, stocking and merchandising, maintaining a clean and organized department, leading and developing a successful team, and safeguarding company assets.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and generate sales
• Suggest and assist customers with archery products and equipment maintenance/adjustments
• Stock and merchandise products effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized department
• Lead and develop a successful team
• Safeguard company assets
• Educate customers on the brands that North 40 sells
• Work collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements

• Archery experience and technical knowledge of archery products
• General sporting goods knowledge (a plus)
• Previous merchandising experience (helpful)
• Sales experience, merchandising, and computer skills (a plus)
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers regularly
• Physical ability to lift and carry 0-15 lbs. continuously, 15-30 lbs. frequently, and 30-55 lbs. occasionally; team lift anything over 55 lbs.
• Ability to spend 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases, and pallet jacks
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques
