Hunting/Archery/Fishing Sales - Retail Associate
Job Details
SCHEELS is seeking motivated individuals to join a team of associates passionate about hunting. Associates work with top brands including Traeger, Vortex, Sitka, Mystery Ranch, and more, selling products and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Compensation

Responsibilities
- Greet all customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile
- Grow personal sales by hitting minimum goals and providing an above and beyond customer experience
- Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and clearly explain its benefits
- Engage in conversations with customers and assist them in making buying decisions
- Demonstrate a passion for products in the store
- Attend all Scheels product training and store meetings
- Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
- Aid in all other assigned duties
- Perform basic math, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, draw and interpret bar graphs
- Write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Show strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Be willing to help with freight/stocking when needed
- Display product usage within the shop and retrieve product from heights greater than 6 ft

Education & Experience
- The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 months of sales experience
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
