We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business.
Pay
$11.00 to $13.00 per hour plus commission. Associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.40 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures.
- Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
- Process sales and loan transactions in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Handle cash and negotiable items according to established procedures.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Collaborate with coworkers to create a positive customer experience.
- Complete assigned training.
- Assist with customer inquiries and problem resolution.
- Work with jewelry, electronics, tools, firearms (in FFL locations), and general merchandise.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Willingness to assist customers outside the building (e.g., parking lots, exterior storage).
- Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic math and cash handling (experience preferred).
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations and a variable retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and office machines.
