Retail Full Time Store Supervisor
About the role
The Retail Store Supervisor role is a full-time position that focuses on providing comprehensive solutions to customers across various areas, including Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves quickly building and maintaining relationships with customers to establish trust and become their go-to advisor on Technology products/services and print offerings.
The Store Supervisor demonstrates a strong passion for the brand, technology products, furniture, services, print, and other services/products we offer. They effectively utilize Office Depot’s proven sales principles to proactively engage customers and drive sales of our complete range of offerings.
Responsibilities
The Store Supervisor will support a customer-centric environment, engagement with the local community, all while contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values of Caring, Committed, Creative, Collaborative, & Courageous.
Additionally, the Store Supervisor is responsible for training other associates on Technology products, selling techniques, attachments, services and driving sales.
The Store Supervisor must be able to work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs, inclusive of the ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Full-Time Supervisor positions must be able to perform External Key Carrier responsibilities which include but are not limited to opening and closing responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework in Business, Retail Management, or related field a plus
- 1–3 years related experience; retail, sales, customer-facing, and/or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in Technology and Print, including use of relevant equipment and POS systems
Skills
- Strong selling, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and train others; works well independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using technology and systems to complete daily responsibilities
- Demonstrates problem-solving, conflict management, time management, and business acumen
- Drives for results, directs others effectively, makes sound decisions, and collaborates well
- Adaptable, accountable, and able to maintain open availability
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is $12.89/hour to $19.27/hour, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
