Retail Full Time Store Supervisor
About the Role
At Office Depot, the Retail Store Supervisor is a full-time position focused on providing comprehensive solutions to customers across Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, becoming their trusted advisor on Technology products/services and print offerings. The Store Supervisor demonstrates a strong passion for the brand and its products/services, utilizing Office Depot’s sales principles to engage customers and drive sales. They support a customer-centric environment, engage with the local community, and contribute to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values: Caring, Committed, Creative, Collaborative, & Courageous. The role also includes training associates on Technology products, selling techniques, and services. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Full-Time Supervisors perform External Key Carrier responsibilities, such as opening and closing duties.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Service Excellence:
- Foster trust, brand loyalty, and exceptional client service.
- Utilize the selling program to promote solutions and additional products/services.
- Maintain awareness of promotions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Educate customers about Office Depot products and services.
- Coordinate customer engagement and service throughout the store.
- Evaluate customer needs to determine total solutions.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide guidance, direction, and training to store associates, including Print Services associates.
- Facilitate training on the business model and holistic service offerings.
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency.
- Provide performance feedback to the General Manager.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Process merchandise accurately and adhere to procedures and standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste.
- Ensure loss prevention compliance.
- Assist the General Manager in coaching associates for improved performance.
- Contribute to sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- External Key Carrier Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety and security during the absence of other managers.
- Ensure loss prevention compliance.
- Perform opening/closing duties, including alarm system management and cash handling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework in Business, Retail Management, or related field a plus.
- 1–3 years of related experience; retail, sales, customer-facing, and/or supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable in Technology and Print, including relevant equipment and POS systems.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $11.81 to $16.00. All state and local minimum wages will be complied with, which may adjust the displayed range.
