About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

  • Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
  • Develop and coach the team to sell effectively.
  • Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
  • Achieve and manage team KPIs, including sales and production workload planning.
  • Manage inventory and execute shrink and safety programs as assigned.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Support interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
  • Collaborate with MODs daily on framing and other tasks.
  • Interact positively with colleagues and customers, maintaining a respectful and positive attitude.
  • Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes, ensuring compliance with standards and budget.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Engage with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes as needed.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous custom framing experience preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Experience leading a sales team.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, stretching, standing for long periods, and working with heavy boxes and accessing high shelves.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of standard framing techniques and materials.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $16.00 - $22.20

Schedule

Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
