Retail Department Manager-Custom Framing

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Coach and develop the team's selling behaviors.
• Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, working closely with the Store Manager.
• Achieve and manage team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
• Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Support with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
• Collaborate with MODs daily on framing and other tasks.
• Interact positively with colleagues and customers, maintaining a respectful and positive attitude.
• Participate in truck un-loading and stocking processes, ensuring compliance with standards and budget.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to maintain a safe work environment.
• Engage with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes.

Requirements

Basic computer skills. Previous custom framing experience and retail management experience preferred. Ability to lift heavy items and work in various environments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in custom framing and retail management.

Skills

Customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and strong organizational skills.
