Retail Sales Manager-Sales/Custom Framing

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships and creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achieve and manage team KPIs, including sales and production workload planning.
• Manage inventory and shrink programs as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Interview, on-board, train, and support new team members; participate in performance management activities.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing and other tasks.
• Interact positively with customers, assist with product location, and provide solutions.
• Engage in truck unloading and stocking processes.
• Follow SOPs and ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Work in public retail settings, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

• Ability to move throughout the store and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames and access high shelves.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
