Essential Job Functions
- Greet and engage guests with a smile
- Complete opening and closing shift checklists
- Stay up-to-date with brand knowledge to include sizing, materials, and brand history
- Take the initiative to self-educate
- Consistently provide gracious service to all guests
- Distribute end-of-shift emails recapping sales, store traffic, noteworthy customer interactions, etc.
- Uphold departmental and company standards and policies
- Maintain store organization and merchandizing
- Absorb floor merchandise
- Assist in general store upkeep and housekeeping
- Assist management in special projects/store resets
- Attend mandatory departmental and company trainings
- Communicate effectively via email with fellow Service Professionals and management regularly
Ability
- Work as a team with fellow Service Professionals in the Retail department and throughout other departments
- Operate all functions of a Point-of-Sale (POS) system
- Ship guest merchandise when necessary
Requirements
- Promote and apply teamwork skills at all times
- Notify appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance
- Be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and fellow Service Professionals
- Execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
- Comply with required safety regulations and procedures
- Attend appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
- Remain current with hotel information and changes
- Energetic and approachable demeanor
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for a minimum of 8 hours in length
- Walking and standing are required for much of the work day and possibly for 8 hours or more
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with customers and accept constructive criticism from supervisors
Schedule
Must be available for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
