Associate, Retail

Primary Job Duties

• Aid customers with purchasing merchandise, including alcoholic beverages/products.
• Assist with store recovery and stock room organization.
• Perform cross-functional tasks in all assigned areas to meet company standards.
• Handle customer issues in a friendly and helpful manner, escalating to a member of the store operations team when necessary.
• Use personal devices/cellular phones for job-related tasks, document reviews, and other duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to process transactions using POS terminals.
• Effective communication in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of customer service experience.
• Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
• At least 21 years of age.

Physical Demands

• Tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
• Prolonged standing.
• Bending and reaching.
• Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 10 lbs.
• Eye/hand coordination.

• Address safety concerns immediately.
• Report security concerns to the appropriate department.
• Pick up trash and notify others for larger messes.
• Provide assistance to guests and notify management if needed.
